First thanx to everyone for their support on this site!

1). My installer said could not hook up the illum wire as it is not the correct voltage??? Does anyone know anything about this?

2). My installer said that if he hooks up the speed sensor, it could mess up the computer of the car??? Does this make sense?

3). He did do the bypass for the updated bluetooth Z1, it works great!

Lastly, I thought if you had the XM module installed, that you could see all the XM icons for the stations, mine has no icons, just the names, and without scrolling, you cannot read the entire data much of the time :o(

Which xm tuner was installed?

It is the unit w/o the Nav function. Is there more than 2 models? One with Nav Traffic and one w/o?

Yes there are two models. One is the GEX-P20XM and that does not do NavTrav. Or there is the GEX-P10XMT which does have that feature. Without the P10XMT the traffic buttons will be grayed out and you will not have all the icons and stuff.

As for the Ilum and VSS stuff your installer is either lazy or an idiot.
