Hello everyone. I am a first time poster. I just bought a Z1 and am looking forward to hooking it up. I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra 4wd limited. Unfortunately there is no information on where to find the VSS and backup wires and Pioneer told me to go and bother someone else. I did a search and found a string for a 2006 tundra double cab with info on these hookups but I am not sure that they are the same for my year and model. Also, for the flash trick to work, do I hook the illum wire to the park lights or high beam lights? Thanks in advance!

The illumination wire will be in the radio harness. The wire harness you buy will have a pin for the ilumination wire.

Thanks for all of the help guys. About the illum wire hookup, according to my wiring diagram of the radio there is no illumination wire. Should I hook it to the running lights or the high beam lights for quick flash? What is the illumination hook up for?
