I'm trying to find a z-1 in my area San Antonio and just upgrade when it comes out. I can't find anyone who has them, they say it has been discontinued, if it was idscontinued then why does pioneer still have it on their site.

Is this true??? Any one in SATX that i can buy a z1 off of?? What stores should i look for i wanted to install one today but no one has them...

The Z1 ran out of stock months ago, the best you can do now is go either refurbished, or as the previous person said, find one off of ebay.

Pioneer stopped making the Z1 a few months ago and are now making the Z2. It's probably on Pioneer's site because they are still going to support it. I don't know how long it will stay there, maybe they are working on taking it off there as we post this.

I hate when stores do that. Sell a discontinued unit for full price. Oh well, thats why theres the internet.

And again another reason CC had to lay 3500 people off... Cant sell what they buy and get stuck with it...

think thats bad i live in Mid-Town texas and our circut city has Z-1 for like 2200 and Z-2 for 2100.....but i got a referb Z-1 for 900 and it works great except maps arnt to great but from what i gather its like that on all of them till the update...

Got my Z1 a month or so ago from Bestbuy.ca(last one in stock) for CAN$1700, still happy with it.
