I have had my unit for over a year and always flashed my headlights to do the bypass. However I have now done the Bluetooth upgrade so I am trying to do the 07/06 bypass but discovered there is no connector whatsoever plugged into the "connector 2" slot. Where do I create the other ground? Please help.

Thank you.

P.S. I have never had any kinds of problems with my unit.

Order the connector from Pioneer, problem solved. Or go back to whoever installed it and ask for it back. They all came with one

It might be a good idea to put a little note in the Smin webpage about this. I'm sure there are a lot of people who didn't have the things installed which are connected to connector two. Then again maybe I'm just slow. Although it has been a year since I installed my Z1.

cheers everyone...!

I had a hard time at first getting the wire to stay in the connector. I finally used some silicon caulking to get it to stay in there. After that it worked like a charm and my Z1 install is now complete! Everything works beautifully from the Bluetooth to the iPod to the bypass. Hopefully I will never have to pull out my Z1 again!
