Did Pioneer go out of business? ;)

I've been trying to get on Pioneer's site for the last couple days...

So, why has their site been down for so long? Any one have any info? I would like to register my unit, and also check out what info is on there for owners of a Z1.

LOL, no they are not out of business, they are redoing their site. I saw the new look on wednesday and it looked a lot better.

yah been over 3 days that the site is down...

they should at least put a temporary site... :(

I'm in the same boat. Trying to register and their site has been down since I got it.

Our brand new site design was supposed to launch last week, and was in fact up for a few hours. Unfortunately, something went wrong on the backend, and IT has been working to fix it since. ETA on a fix is currently unknown.

I actually got an email with a survey from them asking about the Z1 and how i liked it today.

I am glad to hear you got the survey too... I was afraid to fill it out as I wasnt sure it was legit, or some sort of spam to gather personal information.

Did you notice how some questions were written, and the answer options were set up in such a way to limit how you could respond to their questions??? Thought it was kinda funny.

I like the new website...very sharp. Much more in line with the look Pioneer is going for.

did anybody tried to register? I'm having problems

it keep sayin "error, please fill out all the fields"

I did fill out everything.

Yea. It's a pain. This is the 3rd time in past 10 days that is down more than 24 hours. :(
