I've got a 5700 tv tuner hooked to my Z1, and experience the spotty TV reception like everyone else. Was wondering, has anyone ever tried using the cargo rack on the roof of your vehicle to increase reception?

 

I think I could get to it with a little longer wire on the the diversity antenna. At least it would be outside the car instead of behind the glass. Any benefit to this?
