MY D2 has been working perfectly with the by pass for 4 months now. All of a sudden one day it would not power up at all when i turned my car on.

I unplugged the power harness for an hour or so then tried re pluggin the unit back in and turning on the car however the D2 still does not power on. I checked all my wiring with a volt meter and there is power running through them, however the D2 does nothing when the car is turned on.

So is it possible that i blew a fuse in the D2 itself or is this another problem... i called pioneer and the only place that services thier navigation is in Ohio.

So before i sent it out, i wanted to get some feedback to see if there is a simple fix to my problem.

Check all the grounds and wires again.

Yellow should always have 12V+. Red should get 12V+ when the key is in ACC.

If those wires get that and your connections are good, then it sounds like you're going to have to send it in to Pioneer.

Is it under warranty?

Make sure the ground is good too. Year make and model of the vehicle?

its a 2006 Jeep Grand Cheerokee

acording to pioneer it still is under warrenty...

i dont have time to check everyhting till this weekend but i will post an update if i run into another problem

did you use an interface for the turck, or did you run an accessory lead? If you ran an accessory lead, then check that.
