Had an idea of hooking up an AppleTV to the Z1 threw the Aux input (video and audio). Wouldn't need the touch screen cause of the Apple Remote.

It could sync all of your vids and tunes threw wifi when ya pull in the garage!

Only prob is the AppleTV is HD. Are there component to composite adapters out there?

Just use a Mac Mini with an Apple composite out adapter. Run Front Row. It's just like apple tv, but with all the advantages of a real computer. I have one on my Z1.

I agree with jgx about the mini but would really like to see someone setup a iTV as a carputer. Rumor has it the Mini is about to be discontinued and no rumors of a replacement so the iTV might be our next best bet.

If you install a mac mini with the z1 will the touch screen work? can u use the screen and your finger as pointer?

No, I have a second touch screen for the Mini.
