Hi I work at an audio shop as an installer and I just an install on a 2007 f250, everything went great as far as the install. The issue is I also installed the nav traffic piece, and the Ipod adapter connected everything throught the p bus cable and data cable. When I go to the menu screen I cant get it to pop up its shadowed and will not allow me to click it. I went ahead and hit the rest on both the z2 and the nav/ xm piece, still to not be able to access it. What do you guys think Went wrong or do I have to do something else to be able to get it to work. Ive never had this kind of problem with any of avic radios before please help

Did you have the parking brake on when you tried that?

I am having the exact same problem: My Avic Z2 was installed a week ago, everything works well EXCEPT for my XM NavTraffic. I can listen to any XM Radio Audio and channel 000 displays my XM Radio ID, but my unit is showing under the "information" menu that the XM Radio unit is - not connected/no signal. The only thing not working is the XM NavTraffic. Any ideas?

make sure your ip bus cables ins and outs arent reversed

Check power connections too. The red wire to the navtraffic tuner should not be hooked up.
