I'm not a huge audiophile but I think the audio tweaking is quite substantial. Lots of options from frequency filters for your subs to sound staging etc etc. Go to www.pioneerelectronics.com and download the z1 manual for the full list of options.

They're pretty good. There's a good sized parametric EQ with adjustible Q settings, plus some DSP soundstage settings as well. It takes a few days to really tweak it.
