Does anyone know if there is a similar kit for the INNO as there is for the iPOD to control the INNO on my AVIC-Z1?

Yes and no. The CD-UB100 is actually only fully compatible with Pioneer head units with model #'s ending in UB i believe. You will have LIMITED functionality using the CD-UB100 with any USB flash drives.

As for the Inno, you can use the CD-UB100 for the limited functionality to control only the MP3's loaded onto your Inno. Live sat radio and recorded content from XM will not be able to be heard through or controlled by the CD-UB100 .

What I ended up doing when I got my AVIC last year was just purchase the Pioneer 10XMT and added it to the same account I have my Inno on. This automatically made my account a family plan, the 10XMT only costs an extra $6.99/month, I still have my Inno for portable use, and the 10XMT gives me full graphical touchscreen interface on the AVIC!

This is exactly what I wanted to do. I already have the builtin XM for my AVIC-Z1. I was thinking about swapping out my household unit if the INNO because INNO has the capability to record XM Radio which I wanted to be able to play back (using only the MP3 player side) on my AVIC-Z1. Since then, I found a software package that will login to my XM Session, record to my hard drive and export over to my IPOD. Now I can listen to my recorded XM Radio Stuff via my IPOD (eliminating the need to the INNO).

I do want to thank you for reconfirming my findings.

Much regards,

Rich

Yep I have been an XM subscriber since way back in 2003, and have been using the ReplayAV software for over a year now to "podcast" some of my favorite XM shows via the internet! :)
