When I first start my 2006 3500 chevy pickup the xm radio says check antenna , after 20 min or so it comes on. I can turn off the truck all day long and it comes on its only first thing in the morning, Any ideas

where did you mount the antenna?

My car stereo dealer installed the antenna top driver side window of truck body

inside or out?

outside, when first installed 6 months ago it worked fine. Now it seems its taking longer to come on.....

Hmm, thats odd. the only thing i can think of is a reception problem near your house. but if your back and forth throughout the day and it works then thats probably not it either

Has it been snowing lately?

It snowed here recently and I noticed that the sat radio didn't turn on until I cleared the antenna. If you're in FLA, so somewheres south, then please disregard this post.
