I have just purchased the avic d3 and will be installing it soon in my 2001 deville. does this unit come with a dask kit or does anyone know where i can get a dash kit for this car. most places online say their is no dash kit

The cruise control module is located under the hood on the drivers side inner fender

Maybe because the radio opening isn't double din. But I'm a dick so I really don't know anything.

build you own and figure it out..... why would pioneer give you a dash kit that doesn't exist? youll also need quite a few dollars worth of extra parts with onstar/door chimes youll need a gmrc03 and an antenna adapter along with fiberglass and abs to build a nice kit and some gm dash matching paint
