Okay, installed an XM unit (the non-nav traffic one, 920XM i think) with the D3 and activated it. I get all the channels in the list but no audio. Regular radio, DVD, CD, iPod plays fine. Checked SLA, all at center.

Any idea why I'm getting no audio from the XM unit? I've tried the reset button to see if that helped but no dice. Shows "On air" and all that stuff.

Thoughts?

make sure the black end of p-bus cable is in the output of xm, and the blue end is in the avic

That was it, I was hooked to the IN on the XM unit, not the out. Everything works great now, thanks!

Too funny, I had this same exact problem! I was like what the heck? I have everything working but no sound, showing on online it even shows the stations and whats playing? I heard the chimes through my speakers and everything.

I gave up and put my car back together but at least when I go take a look I know whats wrong now.

It gets really complicated when you have multiple devices, I have blue tooth and xm.
