I used the can bus adapter to install my d3. Do you guys use that ground or ground the radio to something better.

i used the ground on my stock harness

If there is a ground wire on your harness, you could use that just fine.

You could also find something metal to screw the ground spade connector to.

make sure to remove any paint/clear off the metal u are attaching it to... if it doesnt touch bare metal you will have a crappy ground

There shouldn't be much (if any) paint back there. But if there is, scrape it off! You want full metal on metal contact.
