Can someone provide detailed instructions for creating custom

backrounds for the D3 using Nero? Do you use a CD-R or DVD-R? Do you

make a data disc or what option do I select using Nero ver. 7? Thanks in

advance...

1) make a jpg

-1000x480 px

-96 dpi

2) save it as a normal or optimized jpg (do not use progressive)

3) place that jpg in a folder called pictures on your cd-r

4) add a bunch of other pictures that you dont care about (all jpgs) to that folder so you have at least 20 files

5) make sure the total sum of the CD is over 1.8 mb

6) burn on the slowest speed

7) all done!

you mean the step by step in the book wasn't enough?!
