My question is will the avic d3 play my ipod videos on the headrest tvs hooked up to it. Also is there a display that will show up on the headrests while im playing music. Ive seen this on cheaper models such as jensen or dual. I have a 5700 now and it always says no signal unless it is playing a dvd

Yes, the video from any DVD's as well as from the Ipod will appear on the headrest monitors. Dont beleive there is any display for music.

It will only display DVD/IPOD video, nothing else

When I had my N2 it would at least display the NAV and menu screens, this is the only bummer so far with the D3 for me...

One thing to note. The formatting and resolution that works perfectly for your Ipod will most likely be of poorer quality on the headrest monitors as well as on the D3. Thats the issue I have now.
