I'm just now starting to use the Z1's Library collection. Is it just me or is this thing a PITA??

I would like to be able to browse my music collection, and find a particular CD or song, but once you select an artists name it starts playing the first song from that artist in your library. This may not be the first song of the album I want, which requires me scrolling down to the 15th track or so, and even then I have to memorize what the name of the first song on the second album is.

Also, if you are playing a song, and want to browse around, it'll stop playing once you select another artist's name.

I was under the impression the Z1 would maintain Artist/Album/Song structure we've all grown accustomed to. Not just Artist/Songs (with no differention of album). And then if you are browsing it shouldn't play until you hit the play button. No?

Any I missing something, or is just that ass backwards?

wow that kinda makes me sad. I have not got mine installed yet but i too was looking forward to the whole "car-pod" thing. I am a HUGE Jimmy Buffett fan and have dozens and dozens of his albums. If i could not scroll by album it woudl take me forever to get from a1a to volcano. oh well

It gets even better...

If you do a search by Album, it will show you the name of the album, but not the artist.

This is all very poorly organized.

Once you are playing the album it's fine, but navigation and selection sucks.
