you guys are great helping me with the bypass
successful install off d3
matches your floor mats perfectly
Man. I give that thing 2 weeks in your car before it gets stolen, its just very visible and you have the huge rims which indicate that you probably have a stereo worth stealing. Take care of your car man. Garaged always. Never go to a mall or store. In fact you should probably just leave it in the garage and watch your nav sit still
.
I have a 24in widescreen monitor, and those pic's didnt fit, try re-sizing.
Did a squirrel chew on your dash?
^^No, that's just GM "quality". Dodge and Ford aren't much better either. I work at an install bay and damn are all of the american cars burtal for interior quality. Gaps are all differnet sizes. Terrible.

I wasn't referring to the gaps. I was referring to the friggin chew marks at the top of the dash opening. I have a 2002 Blazer and my dash opening doesn't look like someone chewed on it.
that radio looks a bit beat up did you drop it before installing it?
i think he wanted it to have an authentic feel.
matches the overall theme quite nice if you ask me
Did a squirrel chew on your dash?
I think it looks like a dremel squirrel.
LOL...
these pictures give D3 a bad name.
Instead of spending $1000+ on the unit and install, you should've saved that money for a new interior or down payment for a new ride. ![]()
i am starting to feel bad....sorta...
dude posted his ride wanted to show it off...and we are bashing his car...
ok...feeling less bad the more and more i look at it...
u try fitting the radio in a cavalier i got that radio used i knew it had scratches.
I have. It's a lot of fun. A dremel makes very quick work of the plastic that gets in the way behind the radio.
i redid the install once i figure out how to make to the pictures smaller i will repost
I was considering installing a D3 in a 2005 Cavalier, but after seeing these pics I am not so sure. It looks like the dash opening has to be cut to install the D3 and that screws up the look. Did he do something he should not have done?
Did something he shouddn't have. He cut the opening instead of cutting out the rear plastic. It can be done in a crapilier and not look like that.
