I just installed the Z2 in my Magnum , looks great!

Been reading the forums, having a hard time figuring out why the voice command wont work properly.. if i tell it something, it understands what i want. example "Track 1" it will tell me that command is not available right now-

The parking brake wire was grounded, in the status it shows 'ok'

but it gives me the parking brake error everytime i turn the unit on, could that be causing the problem?

Thanks!

The parking brake error is not causing your voice command problem. In order for you to use, say for instance, the "track 1" command, you actually need to be in the audio screen and not on the map. I believe you can use it if you're in the map screen but there are a few other commands you have to give first. Something like "AV operations" and then whatever your final command is. When you say "AV Operations" it will give you a list of commands you can make such as "Album" "Track Search" and a few others. If you are giving your command while on the audio screen and it's still not responding, you might need to place your mic somewhere else or aim it towards your face. But you say it's actually recognizing the command its just saying it's not available so maybe you have a different problem.
