Does any one have an opinion on buying a refurbished Z1 off ebay?

I would like to get the Z2 but not with out a bypss. So, I,m thinking of just getting a Z1 but all I can find are refurbished units.

Any ideas?

I've heard/read opinions both ways.

I think the biggest deal is what kind of warranty does it have compared to a new unit.

Several people have had lots of luck with referb's.

The best argument I have heard, is that the referb has gone through actual testing, when an off the shelf unit has not. The referb was definately working when it last left the factory, when who knows with a regular straight off the line production unit.

i wouldnt buy a refurb, and i wouldnt buy it off of ebay

I would buy a refurb for a dirt cheap price, but I certainly wouldn't buy it on ebay. If it works for 90 days, I figure the odds are pretty good it will work for a year so I wouldn't worry too much there. If you buy it off ebay, you get zero days

if it is an ebay store (with thousands of feedback) i would go for it, depending on price. circuit city has an ebay store, "trading circuit"... check their 3 stores, they usually have good deals.
