Hey guys, I did a search but came up empty on this. I just had a Z1 installed in my 2007 Mustang with the Shaker 500 system. It's all hooked up and bypassed and looks great.

I was wondering if there is anyway to get the AUX input inside the center console of the Mustang to work with the Z1? It seems a shame to lose it.

I'm not familiar with the aux input on the mustang, but is it just a headphone jack for an ipod or other mp3 player?

If so you can do this but there is probably no plug and play harness. The Z1 has an aux input (it's video and audio) but you can just use the audio part of it, you might have to splice the jack in the mustang center console to RCA jacks and that would plug right into the Z1. Then you have to "enable" the aux input in the Z1's settings.

Should not be too hard.

As long as the aux input wasn't some weird proprietary thing, I'm just assuming it's a headphone jack input for any portable device.

Yeah, it's just a headphone jack. I may have to get it taken out all together. The GPS is completely messed up.
