does anyone know where i can find the speed sensor cable in this car? been googling and searching forums, but no luck... thanks.

The data link connector is under the driver side dash in the fuse box opening

do you know by any chance how i would "tap" into that wire? should i just split the cable and connect to avic?

The D3 unit comes with all the parts. You should not have to cut any existing VSS cable at all.

There should be a pink clip thingy. That's what you use (see the instructions).

i have seen that clip thing. so that clip goes directly into the vss cable on the car side? i have not seen the vss cable yet, so i don't know what it looks like.
