can anyone help. I just installed the z2 and bluetooth. The phone will establish connection and then within seconds will disconnect. Pioneer says blackberry 8100 pearl are not yet compatabile. Any idea on how to fix this problem.

I've been using my Avic Z1 with my Pearl 8100 Blackberry....and it's been working fine since January. I have noticed the past month or so and also with a previous Treo 650 phone that the Avic would connect and disconnect randomly, but most obviously in areas I haven't travelled in a while or highly congested areas such as Toronto Ontario. I believe that the unit has auto learn and fear that this is a problem with Pioneers engineering. I have called their Canadian Tech support and there are no answers.
