New install of avic d3. everything seems to work but one problem....voice guidance will not mute the ipod while it's playing. It will mute radio and xm but I can't hear it when the ipod is playing loud....any ideas? Thanks!!!!

The voice guide doesn't mute the ipod. it's kind of a pain in the ass. You would think they would at least attenuate the ipod or something.. :/

Unless there is a feature I don't know about. I haven't played around with it too much.

Set Mute level to complete mute (not -10/20) and mute all sources.

Ok, I was lazy before and didn't want to break out the manual...

But since it is an option, here ya go:

Page 123 in the manual says you can set it to Mute or Attenuation.

I wish it would pause the iPod during voice navigation instead of mute it. Sometimes the nav lady talks for a long time.
