Does it fit perfect, or will I need a dash kit? I like clean, perfect installs ![]()
Also, if anyone has an rsx, what are the best mounting points for the xm and the gps?

Type s or non type s. The type s needs a kit the regular one doesn't
IT's a non type-s--are there any gaps?
Depends on how good you are at cutting the trim piece that comes with the d3. If you don't want to do that you can get a 99-7801 and use that trim piece. No cutting/filing needed.
Can you post a pic of your dash. Is your hazard button built into the radio bezel?
It is on the type s aand isn't on the non type s
Yes get the 99-7801 then.
Another ques--where are the best places to mount the xm antenna and the gps antenna on the rsx? There is already some kind of antenna (a little rubber fin) on the top of the car, can that be used somehow? or is that just the fm antenna?
Thats the fm antenna. For best reception they go on the outside of the car. If you don't want to do that a lot of people put them on the dash.
I bought this car from a friend--and now that i think about it, he might have done the type-s dash kit--isn't the picture I posted a type-s dash?

The "fin" on top of the car is actually the washer nozzle for the rear window. The factory FM antenna is integrated into the rear window.
