OK, I have an Avic N1 (original, no mods whatsoever) and I would like to upgrade to the N3 SOFTWARE (CNDV-60MP 2006 disk).
My questions are, if I only upgrade the software, not the brain, will I still have that stupid "no DVD nor nav directions" thing? If so, how to bypass it?
