first let me say you guys on here do 1 hell of a job...i am a shop owner in south florida and a pioneer dealer....thanks for all the help in the past!!!!!!

have a customer wiyh a 07 tahoe with z1 installed...problem is screen freezes on disclaimer screen...sent it back to pioneer...just got it back yesterday,pioneer said no trouble found, put it back in the truck, seems to work, customer calls 1st thing today with same problem....any suggestions

Without testing anything it sounds like an intermittent hard drive failure. Only lockups I have seen were with hard drive related issues (not saying that's the only possibility for all lockups, just the ones I saw, since I was messing with the hard drive).

 

But with the shipment it's possible that it could be hard drive (mechanical).

 

If you have another one, try switching hard drives and see if the problem follows the hard drive.
