Thinking of getting the D3 over the Z2 so I'm Comparing the two. One of the things I can't figure out is if the D3 is able to display brand icons on the map, for example if I'm driving through a highway somewhere will it display the Mcdonalds logo where a Mcdonalds is located?

Yes it does

Excellent! Thanks for quick answer.

how you get the icons on the d3

Overlay POI and choose which ones you want on there

how you get the icons on the d3

Thus far I've seen the McDonalds Logo, a tiny red lobster, Shell Gas station logo, Outback sign (Outback Steakhouse)....and several others that are somewhat generic. A Pizza for example

There are only like 50-60 actual company logos. Everything else will be a generic one

subway, wendys, baskin robins, mcds, a (burger) icon for kfc and burger king are ones that i've seen here in canada

Yea same here. It would be great if Pioneer can update these and put ACTUALLY logo's for all. Even for car company's, we should be able to get the Acura, Honda, GM, etc logo's. That would be great.
