quick question before i buy the unit but with you guy's experience, how long and far can you drive around without the nav disc before it asks for it again. i can easily drive 30 or 40 miles in the metroplex on a regular basis and dont want to have to keep changing out my audio cd with the nav disc.

Depends on how long the actual route is, and how many streets are in the area of the route. If the changing of cds and map discs bothers you, you could either get a cd changer or an ipod/mp3 player.

Changer goes through the P-bus so it won't use up any inputs
