I had the CD-BTB200 installed with my D3 and cannot get all the bluetooth features to work properly. I have an LG vx8100 through Verizon wireless, and cannot get the phonebook transfer, auto connect or voice commands to work properly. My question is this.....are my limitations a Verizon issue, an LG issure or something else? I plan on upgrading so that I can get the most out of my system, and I would like to seem somewhat knowledgeable about all of this when I go to verizon to do so. Can anybody help!!!!!

Ok, I've discovered that the auto connect does work.....not sure what changed overnight, but I'll take it. Now, I tried the voice commands again, and I noticed that the voice prompts are coming through the car stereo; however, the volume on them is so low that its almost impossible to hear. No luck with the phone book transfer despite multiple attemps based on what I read in other postings. Thanks in advance as always....

On rare occassions I've had to reboot my phone for the autoconnect to work.

We have the Verizon LG 5300 & 8300. Phonebook works, but contacts can only be pushed 1 at a time using the "send name card" option under bluetooth. Be sure to activate phone book transfer on the D3 prior to doing this. We also have the voice dialing low volume issue.

Thanks......that helped a lot!!! My GF has the 8300, and the send name card function wored with her phone. I'm going to take my phone to verizon today and see if they can update the software in my phone to match hers..... If i figure something out about the voice volume issue I'll let you know.

Well, I got a new phone today.....and in the process I found out a lot of information about the phonebook transfer feature.... Verizon wireless DOES limit the bluetooth features on all of their phones; however, as long as the phone supports the "send name card" feature or "send vcard" feature through bluetooth you can add names into the D3 phonebook. I know, for sure, that the LG 8300 and the Samsung u540 both can perform the phone book transfer with the D3 using Verison.
