Is there a kit out there to help install the Z1 in my dash. I know I have to trim the dash a bit but there are no mounting brackets with the Z1 and none to use from the stock radio. Please help.

Did you check with Crutchfield or installer.com for a mounting kit? My mounting kit for my Aviator came with brackets.

Single DIN kit on Installer.com. I did check Crutchfield and they only have a kit for a single DIN also. I also searched an '03 Aviator (assuming that's what you have) and also found to same. Please let me know what kit you got from them. Maybe it will help me in mine. The opening in my dash is perfect on the top and bottom but there is a 1/4" - 3/8" gap on each side and no mounting hardware to speak of.

I also have an 03 aviator. Me and 03Aviator both used one of these I believe:

If you have the same mounting like an aviator, it might work. It's weird that crutchfield didn't carry the double din for an aviator, that's where I got mine. I called them though and asked them about it. Maybe if you called them.

They do make a single din:

But that's usually for people who don't quite have a hole the size of a double din.

I don't know what your 350 dash looks like, but installer.com has this for 05-06:

I didn't see the any for 03's. But there might not be enough room (at least as they say). Also other forums might have more F350 info. I don't know any personally, but I'm sure there are some out there.

Mine is an '03. They changed the opening size on the '05 -06 so that one kit wont work. I did take a look at the one you two used and I think it will work. May have to do some minor mods but anything is better than a Z1 just sitting in an opening with no brackets. Thanks for the respones. This forum rocks. Hopefully I'll be able to help somebody out too. LET'S GET THE HDD CRACKED AND HAVE SOME FUN!!!

What does the ADT-VA133 double DIN install kit from Pioneer consist of? Do think I may need this to help with the install?
