When I had my AVIC N1 I was able to hook up an external DVD/TV Tuner and have it play as the background when it on another source. It was cool casue I could listen to Ipod and watch TV then change to AV input when I wanted to hear what was on the screen. This Damn Z2 I cant figure out how to do. Can I? Along with the lock out is a pain in the ass.

So far it has proved imposible unless you use the rear camera input. I even have the IF remote for the radio and it doesn't do it. My old one used to do that too and my kenwood does it as well.
