The last couple of days my mic has been off and on again not working. At first I thought it may be the Bluetooth adapter, or maybe my phone, but it doesn't work with the voice recognition either. Has anyone else experienced this? I find it a bit unlikely that the jack would have unplugged itself just driving around town on paved streets.

I think that if the jack would have unplugged itself the "voice" icon on the screen won't even show up. I'm not sure of your problem, but if the mic is not plugged in, you won't get the voice command button.
