Rear seat DVD video question on Z2

I am about to purchase the Z2 for my 2002 F250 SuperDuty. In the back of the headrests I am going to be installing screens so the video will play in the back.

Is there anything special that needs to be done for the Z2 to play a video while driving in the rear? Is this even possible? These will be aftermarket screens.

Your thoughts and inputs are all welcomed! Thanks!

William

EDIT: I am not worried about watching the video up front while driving....as that is dangerous! ha ha ha Just want it to play in the back while I am driving!

It will output video to rear screens with no problem. nothing to worry about there.

Yah, the Avic-Z(1 and 2) were made for being able to play a DVD to the rear screens while the front was doing or listening to something else. If the rear screens have headphone jacks or IR headphones you can listen to Sat radio or FM radio or the internal library while the rear passengers watch a DVD, you will have control over the DVD (track and menu settings) but not see it unless there is a bypass for the unit. Otherwise you just see the controls on the screen and the rear passengers see the movie.

How do you select a different audio source for the front than the video/audio which is being sent to the rear? I can't seem to figure this out and don't have the manual anymore.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
