Has anyone tried the touch screen protection cover for any of the avic units? They sell it on Ebay...it sticks to the screen. I tried one on a D2 unit...and I did not like it. The light reflected from it and caused difficulty in seeing the display somtimes.

how is the viewing of movies/dvd's? do you think the screen protector makes it more difficult to view the movie at all?
looks like you have to make the cut yourself - since nushield doesn't list pioneer in the GPS Nav products, is that what you did?
It is almost invisible once it is installed. No cutting involved, when you actually order there is a drop down menu with Pioneer products listed. 2 for $15 is what I paid.
I don't see an option for it anywhere. Where exactly can you select the Pioneer?

I have noticed no effect on sensitivity.
These are on backorder because of AVIC 411 they had to retool for all our orders for this website ,about 2 weeks.

The D3 has a smaller screen then the D2.

yeah i took the bait and got the Z1 cover off of ebay. Dont do it. its a cheap sticker. How that seller has almost 100% feedback is beyond me.

I would call them I am sure they do custom sizes.

hey guys well i bought my avic-z2 havnt opened it and i was wondering if i should get those covers for my screen? doesnt it come with plastics already when you open it upon arrival?
it comes with a plastic bag wrapped over it. I dont think you should use that as a cover though. It isnt very transparent.
i have an n3 and i never thought about putting a clear plastic , i thought z2 came with screen protectors like gameboy or psp lol.... plus i dont want to reduce sensivity or lighing being affected...
nope, the screen protectors wont make it less sensitive. Even the crappy one I got off of ebay didnt less the sensitivity. It doesnt stop glare much, but it doesnt add any glare of its own once added.
so basicly its just to have peace of mind of not scratching it with your nails or anything? and applying of course its removeable and re useable due to the air tight bubles that can occur .... ?>
