I am looking at finally installing a backup camera. I was wondering what does everyone think would be the best camera for a 1998 Toyota Tacoma? I have done the search and it seems there is good and bad ones. I just looking for one that will give me good night vision as well as daytime visibility. Do the cameras you get off ebay work that well, my instinct says for 29.99 they could not work that well Thanks for any info

your instinct would be right, i would stick with the pioneer

The pioneer works great for night vision...I have seen plenty of factory installed cams that are terrible in comparison...

+1 for the Boyo VTL300 i use it with my D3 and it works great! and looks better then that pioneer one sticking out by itself.

Don't you have to drill holes for mounting the Boyo?

I did'nt have to. It mounts on your rear license plate bracket.
