I have a D3 with btb200. I have Verizon with a moto e815. Everything works fine except people tell me I sound like I'm in a tunnel. Talking right into the mic doesn't help. I here them fine. Is my problem with Verizon, the phone or Pioneer. What do you guys think.

Have you tried different mic placement? I use two different cingular motorolas and people say I sound fine

Yes, I've even had the mic in my hand and distance hardly seems to matter.

I have mine right in front of my guage cluster. Works great

Mine is clipped to the front edge of my headliner and works absolutely perfectly. No one ever even guesses that Im on a speaker phone type setup.

What serviceand phone do you have?
