Hey all,

I'm looking to get a nav unit, and the Z1 is tops on my list right now. There are a couple of things that concern me about it, though so I'm also looking at others. However, I haven't been able to find any other units with voice control.

Is voice control something you guys use alot? Are there any other manufacturers that use voice control? It seems like it would be a no-brainer as almost all the OEM units are voice controlled, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Thanks for any info,

Russell

I would like to have voice control myself, but I also want a NAV that works correctly & the Z1 sure ain't it.

I had a Z1 for 3 weeks before I sold it in disgust on ebay & replaced it with an Eclipse 5510.

And you still lurk around avic411? Why? What were your problems?

jmorton,

could you elaborate a bit more on your problems? The Z1 is tops on my list right now, so I'd love to hear of the issues you've had with it and comparisons to the 5510.

Thanks,

Russell
