When is Pioneer going to release this upgrade?

I called about a week ago spoke with a person... and she said not until August... but she really was not for sure... I tell you I love their product but support and service really sucks... their people should be more informed...

When is Pioneer going to release this upgrade?

I am hoping this delay means, Pioneer is adding the changes we all have been requesting.... yeah right!

To add to that... I called weekend support (they brag that they give extended weekend support for navigation) and they couldn't answer any of my questions (and trust me, they were all fairly routine questions, I'm sure) and they said to call back on Monday morning, because the weekend support does not have access to all the info that the regular support during the week does. ?!?!!?

Sooo... they're not using the same computers, hooked into the same database... trained the same by the same managerial team???? Wow, just wow.

I'm not too anxious about the Z2 update disc.

There is still no bypass available anyway.

The only reason I and everyone else would be excited to get the Z2 update would be if they updated the software but let us keep the Z1 bypass, because then we would have something for Z2 owners. I don't think they are going to let that happen, but I can dream can't I?

I do see a pattern forming as they did disable your flasher just from a simple bluetooth update.

I would like to get the update if only for the newer maps. I have resigned myself to not having the bypass in return for newer maps and maybe some other software improvement.

so, you cant get the map update without updating to the Z2 software?
