hey guys/gals!

I searched around here a couple of nights ago, last night and today and have not found a precise answer to my question.

I am currently on the market for an AVIC unit (excluding Z2 because of no motion-hack), otherwise it does not matter which one it is as long as its a double din unit.

What I am trying to find out is which ones (if any) will allow me to take the navi picture and display it on a seperate monitor.

The setup I am going for is to have the unit on the lower cubby hole (I have a 2005 Honda Accord), and have a monitor up higher to display video from the unit and a ps2 slim.

So any help is greatly appreciated, if the answer is already out there, would you please post the link... sorry if this is a reposted questio. thank you very much for looking!

awe, are you serious? would any of you happen to know any other double din units that are able to display the navi on a seperate monitor?

My d2 can send the navigation picture to a second monitor. Its not very clear but it is legible.

From what I've read, you can output your video (DVD Movie) to a separate monitor but the navigation screen can only be shown on the original unit's display.

I just ordered a D-3 from Compuplus and will try to hook up an external monitor for the dvd hopefully.

i tried this for a dealer preload, d3 does not have dual zone capibility, to play dvds while driving d3 must be bypassed d3 video output only shows nav source, used a z1 instead.
