How do i change the spash screen on the AVIC Z1, i have changed the navi and the av screen.. iono how to change the splash..

help would be appreciated.

you have to remove the hard drive and unlock it. the instructions are in the z1 section.

What upgrade, can you point us to it? I talked to Pioneer this AM and they standby the no way to replace splash screen.

I'm not sure what you're asking. But, my Z2 will let me change the spash screen. The Z1 to Z2 upgrade should give you this option too.

If you upgrade your z1 by either buying the upgrade disc or unlocking and using the z2 image you will be able to change the splash screen.
