Hi, I was trying to install my backup camera and while I was splice'n the power wires it short circuit'd, the nav wont turn on, I tried resetting it but no luck.

Any thoughts on what might have happend.

have you checked all the fuses?

Did you check the power wire with a volt meter? I accidently shorted mine to ground and i checked all the fuses. but it took me over an hour to find out my car had a third fuse for the radio hidden underneath the wiper crawl area for an anti-battey drain protection.

Yeah, I would check your fuses.

I will give you $50 for a dead Z2

(that way at least, I'll get an image of the drive to put on my FTP)

yeah, I just checked all the fuses and they all work, what else could it possibly be?

I removed the Z2 and unplugged everything, including battery. I let it be for about 20 min. and when I put everything back, It works!! I guess It needed some kind of hard reset.
