i've had my D1 for over a year and just found this sight two days ago, i've since completely modded my backgrounds, including my opening screen.... so this mod is next.

the parking brake thing is easy. its this mute wire thing that is something i'd have never thought of....

so you're basically making a loop out of the mute wire where its going out and that back in to the harness, then grounding the loop... essentially grounding two pins??

I want to be sure before I go fry my trip-buddy

No loop. You take a wire that you are not using in the harness, stick it in the empty hole til it clicks in place, ground that wire, ground the light green parking brake wire. Thats it

anyone know if software upgrades disables d1 wire hack? if i put 2007 discs in will it void the hack?

ok....didn't read. they won't if anyone else was wondering...2007 discs will not void hack
