I just recently had my Z2 installed. I was so excited to get it and start playing with it, but it's starting to give me a headache.

Anyways, I am trying to figure out the easiest way to play some mpeg's on mine. See I have some music videos on my computer that I would like to play on my Z2.

- When burning the mpegs to disc, how do they need to be burned? format? Im using Nero, so what options do I select? I tried reading the manual about this topic, but it was really confusing.

- Can the video be saved onto the Z2 hard drive?

- If I install a 2nd monitor, I shouldn't have any issues with playing the video while the car is in motion....right?

Any help would be appreciated

They need to be burned as a DVD video. Depending on what features you have with nero, you might not be able to do it. Select DVD video and then you have to move the VOB and IFO files into the disk. Nero can do this but it might not be in burning rom, it's in another part. I never use that, I usually use TMPGENC to convert the MPEGs to VOB and IFO files, then burn that.

No, only music can be ripped to the hard drive and only from CD audio.

Yes, you will hear the music and the second monitors will see the video.

Sometimes I use NERO quickly burn youtube videos on a CD using the VCD or SVCD option formats. that works. For DVDs use a program called "easy AVI to DVD" The only thing is, it works off of all AVI and DIVx so you also have to convert mpegs to AVI.

If they're only music vids just use nero and pick the svcd format in the CD menu and do that. Its easier. You have to use a CD not a DVD.
