Battery drain since D3 install

With the help of the great info on this forum, I was able to install my D3 but I have a battery drain problem that is certainly due to the radio install job I did. All D3 functions work and I'm certain everything is connected properly. I soldiered all connections. It takes a day to drain the battery to the point where the car won't start. When I attach the battery charger, I can hear the "hum" of the battery charger through the car's speakers even though the D3 is off. I used the GMOS-LAN-04 adaptor which is correct for my car. Also used the PESWIPS control to keep the steering wheel controls. The PESWIPS works about 70% of the time...you can always lower the volume and change channels, but the increase volume control intermittant. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Any suggestiongs will be appreciated!

surely you are not able to listen to the radio if the key is not in the cylinder and the ign/acc is off?

did you install any other devices, like an amp? if so is it on like in the case mentioned above?

year/make/model would be helpful.

2007 Pontiac Solstice. Radio can't be heard with power off and key out. But with the radio off and my keys out of the ignition, I could here a buzzing sound from the battery charger through the stock speakers. My guess is that the GMOS-LAN-04 is not shutting off power to the stock Monsoon amp. Installed the D3...xm module, and ipod interface. Thanks again guys!

Just to update this thread...I have finally found and fixed the problem. I had a faulty GMOS-LAN-04 unit. I purchased the GMOS through Amazon.com and ultimately, Metra said that they were not an authorized dealer and would not honor their 1 year warranty...so beware if purchasing from Amazon! The amp power wire on the Lan was not turning off causing the battery drain. My solutiion was to split this wire and install a 12v relay to an acc power source. Just used the relay to complete the circuit with out putting any voltage to it. Hope this helps someone else out!

Thanks to all for your help!
