Does anyone have a real time frame when we will get our new maps updated. I got an email from customer service that said she thinks in August... Now I spoke to another girl that told me first week of July... does anyone really know when?
No, and it seems Pioneer doesn't know either 
it's probably delayed so they can remove the Z1 bypass when you upgrade.
It sure would be sweet if the Z1 bypass stays intact after the upgrade, but it seems unlikely.
Yea it sucks.. but really I would lose the bypass just to get better maps... I really dont use it for DVD since I have them in the headrest..
DVD watching is the least of the reasons you need a bypass.
Yeah, I really need the address search function.
OEM navi systems in Acura and BMW allow this so dont know why pioneer is being such a Biatch? 
It looks like August is when the upgrade disk will be release... at least that's what the webpages is saying.... Look in the "Upgrade Disks" section of the website....

Do you have a link for that? I just went to Pioneer's site and I don't see anything about CNDV-70MP. It just referenses the CNDV-60MP and CNDV-50MTP.

Disregard. I just found it. You had to actually click on one of the current upgrade CDs and it says "out of stock" then, "New disc CNDV-70MP arriving in August! Be notified when the new discs arrive by signing up on our waiting list."

is this only for z1 or is it also for z2?
it is only for the Z1. It should give the Z1 the same maps/features as the Z2
The CNDV70 disks are for the D and N series, not the Z series
