VSS on 2007 Ford Fusion? — AVIC411 Forum Archive

Hi i am interested on getting the D3 with ipod connected. But does anyone kno where the VSS on a 2007 Ford Fusion is? I am taking it to a local installer and want to have know everything that i will have to explain to him. Also can i hide the unit for the gps? or does it have to sit in plain site?

there is no vsss in that car, you have to use learn mode. there are people on here who claim they have hidden their antenna, but i dont feel it is accurate enough without a clear view of the sky. especially in a car with no vss

does that mean that my gps will be a bit off since i do not have a vss?

I have an 06 Fusion, and both my GPS & XM antenna are in the little bin on top of the dash. They work just fine.

And no, VSS isn't hooked up.
