Will AVIC-N1 work with AVIC-N3 software?

And will it work like a n3? Will Sirius and Ipod adapters work like an n3 or like an n1?

iPod no. Thats hardcoded in to the N3 brain I believe.

Sirius has a crappy interface on the N1 and the N3. Get the better sat service, XM. :)

Prexactly, you want the n3 ipod interface, you need the n3 brain.

You need that brain for a decent XM interface too, not that its programming is at all superior to Sirius :)
