my D1 GPS is not working. I connected the GPS antenna and it says I'm in LA while i'm actually in the bay area. I checked the connection status, it says GPS is "NOK".

I already connected the GPS antenna and put in clear sight under the winshield. It's still not working

Try putting the antenna on the outside of the vehicle temporarily.

I put the antenna outside the car, still no signal.

The GPS wire was cut in half, so I had to rewire it.

could this be the problem? do I need a new GPS antenna?

Yeah that'll do it. you'll need a new antenna. If you want to send me the broken one, I can try to repair it. How far from the antenna and the connector is the cable damaged.
